Parents,
You’ve seen the passion your dancer has but lately it hasn’t always looked like joy.
They used to walk into the studio full of excitement but now you’re just seeing the non-stop comparison, the tears on the car ride home, the unmanageable pre-performances nerves, and the way they beat themselves up (no matter how well they do).
You want to support them but you’re not always sure what to say or how to help. Sometimes they even bite your head off with “maybe that works for other things, but you just don’t know about ballet!”
Yup, I know… because I said it too.
Being there for your dancer can feel like a balancing act between supporting them and adding more pressure and overwhelm.
They want to be the best dancer they can be, but you also want them to be happy, healthy, and whole.
That’s where I come in.
I help dancers build the tools they’re not taught in class so that they can handle the pressure, navigate setbacks, and develop lasting confidence, making dance feel fun again while also being something that supports their well-being.
